This website and store operate under the LINC brand (“LINC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and purchases from us, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Please review these terms, our Returns & Size Exchanges policy, our Lifetime Limited Warranty, and our Privacy Policy before purchasing.

1. Product Purpose & Limitations

LINC rings are jewelry intended for everyday wear. They are not personal protective equipment, medical devices, electrical safety equipment, or certified breakaway devices.

No ring is risk-free. Any ring—including a nonmetallic ring—can catch, snag, compress or injure a finger or another part of the body, restrict circulation, or contribute to serious injury. Potential injuries include skin damage, burns, ring avulsion, degloving, and loss of a finger.

Descriptions such as “nonmetallic,” “low-profile,” “impact-resistant,” or “comfortable” describe product characteristics. They do not mean that a ring is safe for every person, activity, or environment.

2. Wear & Workplace Safety

You are responsible for assessing whether wearing jewelry is appropriate for your activities and for following applicable workplace policies, equipment instructions, and professional guidance.

Remove your ring whenever jewelry presents a hazard, including when working around moving machinery, rotating equipment, exposed electrical components, or other conditions where a ring could become caught or cause injury.

Nonmetallic construction does not establish an electrical insulation rating or make a ring suitable for energized electrical work. Wearing gloves over a ring does not eliminate ring-related hazards.

Our products do not override workplace restrictions on jewelry, including rules concerning hygiene, infection control, or patient care.

3. Fit, Skin Contact & Emergency Removal

Select a size that fits comfortably without restricting circulation. Finger size may change with temperature, activity, injury, or other conditions.

Stop wearing your ring if you experience pain, numbness, swelling, irritation, discoloration, or other discomfort. No material is guaranteed to be free of irritation or allergic reactions for every wearer. Any reference to material biocompatibility does not mean that the finished ring is sterile, hypoallergenic, or suitable for every individual.

LINC rings are not designed or certified to release at a predetermined force. We do not guarantee that a ring will break, stretch, or detach before an injury occurs.

We also do not guarantee that emergency removal will be easy or possible with any particular tool or method. If your ring becomes stuck or you experience signs of injury or restricted circulation, seek appropriate assistance promptly. Never delay care to preserve the ring or a warranty claim.

4. Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge the inherent risks of wearing rings and agree to use reasonable judgment when selecting, wearing, and removing your ring.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LINC will not be liable for injury, loss, or damage to the extent caused by misuse, use contrary to product warnings, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow applicable workplace or equipment safety requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LINC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential economic losses arising from use of this website or our products, including lost profits or business interruption.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or reduces our obligations under our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

5. Orders, Prices & Product Information

You agree to provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information and to review your order before submitting it.

Orders are subject to product availability and payment verification. Prices, available options, shipping charges, and applicable taxes are displayed on our website or at checkout.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, but errors may occur. If an error affects your order, we will contact you about a correction, alternative, or cancellation. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement. Payments for items we cancel will be refunded.

Product appearance may vary slightly because of display settings, lighting, and normal manufacturing or finish variations.

6. Shipping, Returns & Warranty

Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise. Contact us if your shipment is delayed, missing, or damaged.

Ordinary returns and size exchanges are governed by our Returns & Size Exchanges policy, including its request deadline, unworn condition requirement, and return-shipping deadline.

Defects, qualifying breakage, and emergency removal are addressed separately under our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Warranty coverage is subject to its stated conditions, including return, inspection, and cleanliness requirements.

Our warranty is a product replacement promise. It is not a representation that a ring will prevent injury or remain intact under every condition.

Nothing in these terms disclaims our written warranty or any implied warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Respectful Conduct & Refusal of Service

We’re here to help, and we expect customers and staff to treat one another with respect.

We may decline new orders, cancel unfulfilled orders, or restrict communication when we reasonably determine that a person’s conduct is abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or repeatedly rude or offensive toward our staff.

This includes personal insults, slurs, intimidation, threats, and repeated hostile communications. Depending on the severity, we may act without a prior warning.

Good-faith complaints, negative reviews, and requests to exercise consumer rights are not, by themselves, grounds for refusing service.

If we cancel an unfulfilled order, we will refund payments for the canceled items and any associated unearned shipping charges. Restrictions on service or communication do not eliminate valid warranty claims, refund obligations, or other legal rights. Where necessary, we may require outstanding matters to be handled through a designated written channel or representative.

We will exercise these rights consistently with applicable law and will not refuse service on unlawfully discriminatory grounds.

8. Website Use & Intellectual Property

You may not use our website to commit fraud, violate the law, interfere with site operation, introduce malicious code, access systems without authorization, or infringe the rights of others.

Our original branding, photographs, written content, and designs are owned by LINC or their respective owners. Commercial reproduction or use requires appropriate permission.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability. Third-party websites and services may have their own terms, and links do not constitute a guarantee of their content or performance.

9. Privacy & Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and retained in connection with our store, including information about service providers, cookies, and available privacy choices.

These terms do not replace that policy or provide blanket consent for data processing. Where consent is legally required, it must be obtained through the appropriate process.

10. Governing Law & Where Disputes Are Heard

These terms and disputes arising from purchases through this website are governed by Pennsylvania law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply under applicable law.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising out of or relating to these terms, this website, or products purchased from LINC must be brought in the state courts located in Susquehanna County (Union Dale), Pennsylvania, or, where federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, in the United States District Court serving that county. To the extent permitted by law, you and LINC consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

This provision does not restrict your right to bring a claim in another court where that right cannot lawfully be waived, or to submit a complaint to a government agency.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms for future website use and purchases. The updated date will appear above.

The terms and policies in effect when you place an order govern that purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Later changes will not retroactively reduce an existing purchase’s warranty or mandatory consumer rights.
